Having Trouble In School. What Should I Do?

I'm having a lot of trouble in my nutrition cl at college. I'm really having difficulty comprehending the notes on the power point presentation and copying them down at the same time. I have learning disabilities and it is very hard for me to comprehend sentences and and verbal lectures at the same time and it's very frustrating. Like for example, in today's presentation we learned about the human body. Our teacher was giving a power point presentation and was explaining facts about what the body does. As she was giving her presentation, I was trying to take notes on each of the slides, but it was very difficult for me to keep up with the rest of the cl. Like when she was explaining the third or fourth slide, I was still trying to comprehend AND take the notes down from the very first slide. I was very frustrated because I couldn't keep up. And also, I'm very nervous about my midterm because she said it was going to be very hard. How on earth am I going to p this difficult midterm (it has questions like what makes up the nervous system, the main function of saliva is what? What specific hormones controls hunger? What is the digestive process? ) when I don't even have proper notes to study from? And another thing that worries me is that because of my learning disabilities, I happened to really suck at math and science. For some reason this cl feels like a science cl instead of a health cl. I am so ridiculously nervous that I'll fail, and I really don't want to fail. (my dad had suggested getting a note taker, but that is a whole big project, and my class is at night.) What should I do? I'm very nervous!

Will my hair grow back if I lose the root of the hair?

I have been using hair spray for about 10 years. I use it a lot actually. Just recently, I noticed that I can see my shape of my head through my hair now. Also, every time I take a shower, my hand would have about 10 strains of hair in which all consist of the root. Is it possible for my hair to grow back even though the root has clearly been pulled with the strain of hair? What should I do in order for my hair to grow back. Better yet, is it even possible for it to grow back? My family members all have hair, so it being hereditary is thrown out. I used to smoke, and do drink on occasions. Any help would be great. In addition, I am also using NIOXIN shampoo to help strengthen my hair. Thank you in advance!

Rollover 401K into a Roth IRA?????????

I have a 401K with a company I worked for 13 yrs and it "downsized" and closed its factory production where I was. I got a call from the financial company that handle the 401K and they want me to get my money out of that 401k since I dont work there anymore. I think that by law I do not have to move it but I heard that I could roll it to a Roth IRA and that I can take money out of that Roth to invest in the stock market etc etc?? Is this correct????? I have to call back these guys and find out what they suggest but dont want to get screwed just cause my former boss doesnt want to pay to have me in his companys 401k. Long flight alone with 5 month old?

I'm about to be taking a flight with my 5 month old, and I'll be by myself. The first flight will be about 3 1/2 hours, then on to the final destination will be about 8 1/2. I'm already a nervous flyer as it is, so I need some tips on how to keep calm while taking care of him at the same time. Any advice also on how to get some sleep? I can't take benadryl because it puts me out, and I need to be able to hear him if he cries, and I've never been able to just sleep on a plane/in a car... I plan to have him his own seat so I can use the car seat. I know to bring lots of different toys for him, and a pacifier or bottle for take off and landing. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

I suggest move that word to the "My feet are still caught" sentence in the beginning. It would sound more accurate that way. In the 10th line, the "that" in the beginning of the line is can be moved to the 9th line. In the sentence before "Despise the endless, winding road" part, you don't have to add the dots. That is all the changes you may need to change in the poem. The title needs working a little. Do i have chronic bronchitis?

Ive been a smoker on and off for the ped 7 years. I quit about a year ago, but started again after 6 months. As of lately, ive gone up to 2 packs a day. Ive been experiencing an extremely hard cough, with light yellow mucus and i'm constantly short of breath with chest tightness. I find lately that I cant walk across campus carrying a 20 pound backpack without needing to stop for fear of ping out. If i have chronic bronchitis what can i do to help/stop it. How long does it last? Ive have these symptoms for about a week now and since then have decided to quit smoking. Will I get better, or is the damage done? Ive been taking OTC, expectorants, mucinex, ect., but they dont seem to help that much. Is there anything I can do to get better?

Help recording audio directly from computer?

I'm trying to record sounds directly from my computer (such as from a game) and I can't get it to work regardless of the tool I use. I know about enabling stereo mix in vista, but I only have wave out mix if that makes any difference. I've already enabled and tested it and it does work... but not when I have my USB -> headphones/microphone jack plugged in. My laptop had a faulty headphone jack port so I had to buy this if I wanted to use headphones. I don't understand why I can record using wave out mix in Audacity (and presumably Cam Studio) when its not plugged in but when it is plugged in it doesn't work. Any ideas or possible solutions? I'll also add that Fraps does record the audio from the computer like I want it to, with the sound device just being labeled 'Vista' oddly, but I don't really want to use Fraps unless there's a way to just have it record audio. I've tried the Ask & Record toolbar, but that doesn't install correctly for me for firefox so I'd also like that to not be a suggestion if possible.

Taking Bactrim DS for urinary tract infection and bronchitis?

I was diagnosed with uti and bronchitis on Sunday. Have been taking bactrim ds since Monday. The first two days were horrible, but on Wed. I felt really good, yesterday not so good, and today my cough has gotten worse. It feels like it's trying to breakup the congestion in my chest, but it hurts in my chest and lower abdomen whenever I do cough. Is the bronchitis clearing or has my antibiotic stopped working. I still have constant urges to urinate, but in the afternoon the flow slows to a trickle. Is it too soon to know if the Bactrim ds is working? I am only concerned because the weekend is coming up, and I don't have the money to go to the ER, nor do I have insurance.

I'm 17 and I'm a guy that don't like to party or drink. I'm not like totally against it, I just think there's other things to do. My gas boiler won't turn on. I turned off the breaker for the furnace 4 days ago and forgot to turn it back on?

So I researched and decided to change the thermal coulpe. This didn't work, I tried 2 new thermal couples both with the breaker on. I also tried removing the thermostat and "jumped" the red/ white connection, didn't work either. The pilot has remained lit through all of this(except when changing the therm. coup.) There is a small elec. box on the furnace with a black plate that is connected to the thermostat & ,what i think is the control for the temperature of the water. All 3 'leads' on this box have power except for the far left which is connected to the red wire from the thermostat. I am not sure if that means anything. Another possibility is, I didn't look to see the position of the original thermal couple. So I am not sure if I am lining it up with the pilot correctly. Any ideas appericated.

Yes, get a cd-rom from the web, it's legal because what you buy is not the actual software, but the license to use it, and you have that because you bought it OEM. Restore the laptop to it's original configuration, and that's that. Have you tried entering the setup menu and restoring the last correct configuration? It usually doesn't work, but you never know... other than that you can remove the disk from the laptop and install it in the PC it will recognize it as another drive, but you have to know a lot about hardware to do this.

Goldfish malady.?

I have recently acquired a goldfish. He's about 2 inches and your normal common ol' goldfish. I've never kept fish before and would like some advice. He's got a bit of fin rot so I put drops in the water for that. He's in a tank - I'd guess it's about 2 gallons. There's gravel in the bottom and a little ornament, which he seems to like to hide behind.. he's shy! I change about 20% of the water every other day. I ate orange light and it didn't turn red till i got underneath the signals? So how is it failure to stop at a red light. Being that this is your first job, I think it's important that you understand now that, when you are working, you are dealing with people, not a building and not always a system either. You are working with ordinary people, who have their own concerns and problems and often bring them to work. And them not remembering your name....that's normal when you first start. That person is probably just bad with names; he/she obviously can't even keep up with training and schedules. Just do your best, keep a positive attitude, and build your skill level and resume. Then, go to a Chic-fil-A. :)
