Can you figure out what my dream is trying to tell me?

I had this dream the other night that my family kept my ex boyfriend locked in a lobster trap in the upstairs of my house. And sometimes I wouldn't remember he was there and get nervous about the things he watched me do. Later in the dream, me and a different ex-boyfriend (one that I've been contemplating getting back together with or not) went on some sort of quest together. I think it might have been to find another place to store my ex boyfriend. Throughout the dream I kept going to all differnt scenery: my neighbors house, a beach house, a spaceship, a libray/museum within a spaceship, etc. The dream had a very nautical/sci-fi feel to it.
