Help with this sonnet...............?

Well, that's a tricky question...from what I can see, their "content" exists as two parts...the rhyme pattern and actual subject/wording. The rhyme pattern, as you've already yzed, is indeed a Petrarchan sonnet. Likewise, these sonnets were "love poems" which tended to idolize their love interests...which this poem also does. Why is this important? because if the subject were race cars or building a house, the rhyme pattern alone would be insufficient to make it a Petrarchan sonnet...it would merely have that rhyme pattern. It would be like a cardboard box made to look like a car...it might look like one, but it isn't one. I hope that makes sense. Also, this style of sonnet has specific parts...just look up the format of this kind of sonnet and you'll see where the turn takes place, etc. That too is "content" and also reflects the form.
