Why do Laker fans think they can get any player they want?

Baron is guaranteed $17M this season. I seriously doubt he would opt out of a great situation in GS for a mid-level exception in LA. It's completely absurd. As for Artest, who knows. He's a wild card, but has said he wants to remain in Sac. If he went anywhere it would probably be his hometown Knicks. The Lakers live in la la land, and most of their fans are completely delusional.
