I am not allowed to view Brink on steam?

I verified my age to view Brink on my Steam account, My birthday is November 18th 1993. I am 17 ******* years old and I can buy this game in gamestop but I cannot even view it on steam? Is there something wrong here or does Steam just like to piss its clients off?
