What should i do about my break up please help me!?

About 2 months ago my girlfriend of 2 years and 6 months broke up with me over the reason that she didnt feel like she loved me the same way anymore. She wanted some space and i gave it to her , we met again and i treated her the best i could and it was awsome, And she kept giving me hints of hope sometimes, and well i cried alot because she was my 1st everything and so was i to her, and we are going to the same college and she promised me she would be with me forever and i believed her so much! and she broke my heart, i dont want anyone else but i have to eventually , she doesnt want anyone else or loves anyone and shes very picky she told me she doesnt know why this happened since i am a great guy apparently and now i am stuck with a dilema, should i rip her from my life or try to be with her as friends and wait and see if it works out eventually in college, and i couldnt stand seeing her with another guy! and i love her so much shes my everything , sorry about typos am crying lol
