Whats the differrence between PCI-ex DDR2 & 3?

DDR2 and DDR3 descibes the type of memory texture that the video card has, and has nothing to do with the motherboard itself. DDR3 is just a newer and somewhat faster type of memory. Also, check to see if there is a difference in the amount of RAM, such as 256 vs. 512.
