How many N chromosomes is there in Prophase 2 of Meiosis.?

By the time prophase 2 of meiosis rolls around, there are only N chromosomes. Before meiosis II began, however, there were 2N chromosomes since the logous chromosomes have not yet separated. Meiosis I is the process of separating logous chromosomes from each other, leaving you with N chromosomes at the beginning of Meiosis II (meiosis II begins at the stage called prophase II).
