I was diagnosed with uti and bronchitis on Sunday. Have been taking bactrim ds since Monday. The first two days were horrible, but on Wed. I felt really good, yesterday not so good, and today my cough has gotten worse. It feels like it's trying to breakup the congestion in my chest, but it hurts in my chest and lower abdomen whenever I do cough. Is the bronchitis clearing or has my antibiotic stopped working. I still have constant urges to urinate, but in the afternoon the flow slows to a trickle. Is it too soon to know if the Bactrim ds is working? I am only concerned because the weekend is coming up, and I don't have the money to go to the ER, nor do I have insurance.
